Christmas

We have had a wonderful Christmas this year! Gage got lots of wonderful presents that we have all enjoyed. Santa brought him a Guitar Hero which has reminded me of how old I am getting, Grandma and Grandpa Stansberry got him his Northface jacket that he has been begging for, Maw and Paw got him reallllyyyy cute Braves crocs and a watch that he loves and Gigi and Poppa got him a DS that has really intrigued us all! We are really blessed to have to split time between two wonderful families. God has blessed us with many things this year. We were able to help a family through church this year and help Gage with the idea of giving and what Christmas is all about! Elisha really surprised me with a beautiful charm bracelet! I was so very excited. I have posted pictures of Christmas this year! God Bless and please continue to pray for us as we pray for you!

Pumpkin Patch

Sorry that it's been so long again. Since August we have been very busy with school starting and my promotion and Elisha beginning his classes again. We visited the pumpkin patch at Critters for Christ and had a great time at their zoo! They had donkeys, goats, kangaroos, lemurs, horses and even a camel named Noah! I will have to post some pictures later. Every thing seems to be going well in the Freeman household these days. Gage is learning that 5th grade is a little harder than 4th grade and that he actually has to study a little. We are getting a little closer to his adoption date every day! We are very excited! Please continue to keep us in your prayers as we always keep you in ours!

Sorry..........

Sorry that it has been so long y'all. Nothing much going on here except for work and school. Elisha starts refereeing this Friday and so Gage and I won't be seeing much of him on those days. Interesting fact...how many of you knew that a crab could crawl under your 11 year old sons bed and live for almost a week. Man that sucker is still kicking. We did go to the beach for a week this summer which was quite a change from the steady pace of our day to day lives. We got to actually relax for a few days! A big thanks goes out to mom and dad for their gift of an Anne Marie and Elisha night out on the town. We really didn't know what to think going to see the Late movie and getting home after twelve. We were BEAT! Interesting how much your life can change in a little over a year and how much joy one little fellow can bring into your life! What can we say! We LOVE him! He just had a birthday and got a trick bike and more money than I have ever seen!!!!!! Wow I couldn't believe it. I think that he might actually save up for a PSP. Who knows! His teacher says that he is one her very best kids and he seems to be taking an interest in Baseball, Tennis and Swimming. He really likes the Scientific books that his GiGi and Poppa buy him and LOVES his Uncle Rodney. He draws pictures of basketballs and the number 21 on them. I am so very glad that he has adapted well! For me and Elisha life as usual, up at 6:45 bed at ten and work somewhere in the middle.

Why is Everybody Sick?????????????????????????

Well we all made a nice quip trip to the local SARHA Center because we all had the CRUD! Gage and Elisha got medicine and I got a shot in the rear end! Something is not so quite fair about that! SO that was all over and we are all tired, but have to keep going because so much is going on! This week we all three volunteered for the Special Olympics of Alabama. We timed the races for the swimming competition and we also got to cheer them on! It was a really great day! We then left from there and went straight to the Nursing Home for the Singing and then straight home for a Bible Study for the Youth Group at our house. Next day we went to church, took the kids out to eat and then went to a Youth Devotional at Collegedale, after which we went back to church @ Hamilton! We are tired people. Oh and Gage is sick AGAIN! Bless his little heart! He looked awful last night. He really doe shave horrible allergies! Maybe we will get some good rain soon! As always pray for us a we pray for you!

The week away!

Well Elisha and Ggae survived my week away from them! I am so very happy to say that Gage behaved so very well while I was gone, that he got to keep his whole 10.00 for the week! We have been on the road the past several weeks so I really got to appreciate what a wonderful husband I have. He always steps up to the plate when I need him with asolutely no complaint! I really could never have asked for such a wonderful christian man! Elisha, I love you with all of my heart! Luckily all three of my animals as well as plants were alive and in tact when I arrived home! A week away from family took quite a bit of catching up to. I talked with Elisha and Gage daily on the telephone....Elisha are you tired of the phone this week????? I guess that this is really all for now! Have a GREAT week every one! As always remember us in your prayers as we do you!

Well it's been a while but I guess that's ok. We had our first Easter with Gage and without my parents. The loss of my precious Aunt Gloria took them to Jackson Mississippi. She was a very special person. Gage made A-B Honor Roll once again! Yeah GAGE! He is such a smart boy! He keeps us on our toes. As a matter of fact, I have had to brush up on my Math skills since he has been with us. He is very excited that we have sent in his forms for Wiregrass for him to attend two weeks this summer. Luckily Sawyer from church as well as Brock and Blake Shannon's nephews will also be attending! He can't wait and is already talking about it! He really looks up to Brock and Blake! They are really good role models for him! Thanks Candy and Vohn for having such great kids!!!!!!!!! You are an inspiration to us! I am taking an Aunt Anne Marie Day to day with Emory since all of Shannon's family has been sick. Elisha and Gage had some really good bonding time yesterday as they put up a basket ball goal for Gage's good grades. Now I will NEVER see them again....HAHAHAHA!!!!! It will actually be good for both of them. I guess that I may have to go outside and show them how to play with all of my skills!!!!!!!! Well I guess that's about it around the Freeman household. I will post pictures from Easter when I get a chance! Take care and God Bless! Please continue to pray for us as we pray for all of you!

Well the crabs died two days later. Sorry no babies y'all. Elisha says three strikes your out!!!! Lillie climbed the fence and jumped onto the window ledge. I will post pictures later of this! She is quite a handful!!!!!! Gage is still continuing to do very well in school! He is so very smart and he really has a big heart. His extended day teacher told him that he should be a special needs teacher. She says that he works so well with the special needs kids at school. He is really a good kid. He is not EVER quiet until he goes to bed at night! He is soooooo funny. Everything else seems to be going ok. Debbie is leaving us at work on Friday! I am really going to miss her! She has become a very special friend! Please continue to pray for us as we pray for you!

Well we got more that we expected. Gage came home with three crabs instead of one. Two girls and one boy. I am afraid that we may be multiplying very soon! Anybody up for adopting a crab. They look like spiders! I told Gage that I hope they don't get out. I might accidentally stomp one! OOOOPPPPSSSS! He has given up his "good" grade money to buy sand, food, and drops for salt water. I will be stopping by Petsmart on my way home today! We are doing pretty well, Maxx goes for his checkup tomorrow. Poor Maxx yearly shots! Elisha is as always a wonderful husband and father! Everyone knows that he is my best friend! I love you YAYA! Please continue to pray for us as we pray for you each day!

Gage wants a crab

Today Gage brought home a permission slip to adopt a crab. We already had a turtle named Red that Elisha had to bury, so Elisha told him..."Find out what happens if it dies". Then you can have it. Gage goes to school and asks his teacher..."What happens if the crab dies?" His teacher says " Well Gage if it dies it dies". I am about to die laughing, trying to keep a straight face while Elisha is talking to him about what to feed the crab and such. I can only imagine what this teacher was thinking. Bless her heart, I bet that she has never had a parent/student combination like us!!!!!! We all went to eat last Friday as a group and went and played games after that. My bestest good friend Shannon tried to kill me by making me eat a piece of a raw oyster. I thought that I would never get enough sweet tea down me to cover the taste. Gage of course ate 32 of them and still wanted more! BLAAAHHHHHH! He loves to "talk" to Emory! She just smiles and smiles at him! He told us that we could "Get" another child as long as it was a lot younger than him...he said he was not going to share his toys!!!!!! He is so funny and he brings a lot of joy to our family. Kids do say the darndest things! Please continue to pray for our family daily as we do all of you!

The Freeman House

Welcome to the Freeman's blogpage. I hope that this helps all of you to keep up with us a little better! Let me know what you think! We had a very exciting Christmas this year with Gage being part of our family! He was so overwhellmed with all of his presents from Santa, Grandma and Grandpa Stansberry and Gigi and Poppa Gafford. He loves Maxx his dog. He always wants Maxx to sleep with him, but we only allow that on the weekends! He loves to go visit at Memaw and Grandaddy Bill's as well as visiting Uncle Rodney and Uncle Victor in Hartselle. He really gets into cheering for Rodney's Basketball team! Go HARTSELLE! He spends alot of time outside playing with his monster trucks as well as riding his skateborad, Razor pocket rocket, and paying hide and seek with Lillie ( our deaf American Bull Dog). Lillie is a new addition to the family. She is eight months old and already weighs 55 lbs. She is quite active as is Gage. I think that's why they get along so well!
Elisha is taking several weekend Master's courses this semester. He seems to be enjoying them. He took this option so that he would not have to be away from Gage and myself at night! He is such a wonderful father and husband. I am so very blessed by God to have such a wonderful man. Elisha loves prison ministry. It has to be his favorite. He already works with the Pike County Jail as well as the Troy City Jail. He has just started going over to the Easterling Correctional Facility in Clio. He really loves his job!
I started my Master's in Education program this term. I am going to take it slow. One class at a time! I decided that counseling was not for me, much to the dismay of all of my friends. I LOVE my job. I work with three very special, wonderful, God fearing women! I love to come to work every day! I have made so many new friends at work and church and feel so blessed. We are booming with babies at our church and at work!! I am a new "Aunt" to Emory Grace Senn the daughter of my bestest good friend Shannon of whom I am blessed to have as a friend. Momma Reba (the BOSS) is a grandmom times two now with a beautiful little girl and a precious baby boy! Debbie (coworkwer and friend) is also a grandmom times two with two precious little girls! Terri(coworker and friend) has two very happy healthy kids, and I learn from each of them every day! Debbie and I compare notes on little boys since both of ours are attending TES this year. Life is good and I love where we are! We have a beautiful home filled with lots of love! We love our work at church! Please pray for us as we continue on our journey through life for the Lord!
